The Sims series has had a monopoly on the Life Sims genre for 25 years, and EA seems determined to keep that way by turning The Sims 4 into a true eternal game. We are now in the 11th year of The Sims 4, Its expansion cycle and other DLC packages are not over. So it seems that The Sims 4 can be the only game you need. But where is that interesting?
One of the drawbacks of The Sims 4 is that for more than a decade, it was built on incompletely modernity – The Sims 4 was launched before PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That outdated base limits some limits on what EA can do, which also means you can use the speed change occasionally. Ten years are a long time to play a game, even a game that is often refreshed.
