28 days later the writer says our last one is better

Directors Neil Druckmann and Alex Garland recently sat down for an extensive and engaging chat where they discussed their careers. Of course, due to Druckmann's last franchise and Garland's 28 days later, there are some overlapping themes that are the virus that leads to an epic social collapse. In the discussion, Garland said that at least in terms of writing, he determined that our Last Life (2013) was better than 28 days (2002).

“Our last one is better than 28 days later or at least writing. I know what 28 days is. I know what I did. I know what the process is.” Sony's interview. “The thing about the last one of us was, I was like, ‘Oh, it’s like more refined and moving.’ I didn’t stand out 28 days later.

28 days later, directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle and star Cillian Murphy. 28 weeks later, the film was in 2007 and will be in 28 this year. Boyle and Garland were involved in the sequel, but returned to direct and writing this summer respectively.

Garland is also known for writing and guiding annihilation, pre-mechanics, civil wars and humanity.
