8Bitdo's Retro 87 TKL Xbox Edition keyboard was designed in collaboration with Xbox, and it has multiple touches to call back, back to Microsoft's first home gaming console, including a translucent green plastic shell and directional keys, with the same color as the Xbox Controller Faceer face takes. There is also an integrated Xbox button to unplug the Xbox overlay menu on Windows. Like other host-inspired mechanical keyboards from 8Bitdo, the Retro 87 TKL comes with a removable panel with two large, customizable mini switch buttons in the same style as the keyboard.
The Retro 87 also has RGB lighting and is officially compatible with Windows, Mac and Android devices via 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth and wired connections. Even the included USB-C cable matches the keyboard's green color scheme. You can customize the binding and adjust other settings using the 8bitdo's Ultimate Software V2 app. Although previously only available on Windows and Android, 8bitdo recently added the V2 version of its software suite to MacOS.
The box also includes a one-month free trial version of a new PC game pass subscriber.

Although the matching Retro R8 Xbox Edition wireless mouse hasn't received a discount yet, the $60 price is already low. The Retro R8 has a clever design and comes with four other programmable buttons – two on each side of the mouse. Just like the Retro 87's orientation keys, the Retro R8's extra buttons match the color of the Xbox controller's face buttons.
The RETRO R8 connects to Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless PC, MAC and Android devices via the included dongle. USB-A dongle can be stored in the mouse itself or in the included magnetic charging dock. If you prefer a wired connection, the Retro R8 is like a keyboard, including a green USB-C cable for charging and wired modes. The mouse can also be charged directly, so you don't need to carry the dock with you when you leave the table.
You can use the setup patch for Retro R8 in the Ultimate Software V2 application for desktop or mobile devices. The mouse is bundled with a one-month trial of the PC gaming pass for new subscribers. If you purchase a keyboard and mouse, you will not be able to redeem both coupons.
