SNK fans have been anticipating the April 24 launch of Fatal Fury: City of Wolves for some time now, but they won't have to wait much longer to briefly enjoy the action. SNK has announced an open beta test taking place from February 20th to 24th, with all platforms included throughout the duration.
Although the list has not yet been revealed, eight characters will be featured in the Open Beta. The test will feature three different online modes (Racing Match, Casual Match and Room Match) – as well as an offline training mode for players to learn the moves of each available character.
The test exclusively begins on February 20th at 12am PST and will run until February 24th at 11:59pm PST. SNK also confirmed that participating in the test will not require a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscription on their respective platforms, so anyone wishing to try out the beta can download and play.
Fatal Fury: Wolf City Marks the return of the Fatal Fury fighting game series after 26 years, the last one released being 1999's Garou: Mark of Wolves. The roster currently stands at 16 announced fighters (14 returning and two brand new names) as well as two guest DLCs in Street Fighter's Ken Masters and Chun-Li.
Fatal Fury: City of Wolves launches on April 24th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
