Mortal Kombat 1's Big Conan The Barbarian update launches this week, and with it The secret battle with Floyd is comingPink Ninja developer Ed Boon has been teasing for years. Not only that, if you defeat Floyd, you can unlock cool exclusive rewards, including coveted new stages.
But how do you trigger a secret Floyd fight? Players are working together to try to crowdsource answers. This community effort, led by Mortal Kombat Modder and Dataminer More pricklymuch has been done to unravel this mystery, but the exact process remains unknown.
Fans have figured this out: there are a number of Floyd's challenges that must be completed before fighting the Floyd Trigger. How many people know. Which challenges must be completed, and in which order? No one knows either. To make matters worse, every player looks different. Not much help, is it?
What helps is thionitrile Google Docs This lists the various challenges found by players and the requirements for each challenge. When you complete the challenge, the Floyd icon will pop up on the left side of the screen and you'll hear a guitar riff. Requirements include taunting four times in a match, winning without jumping, and winning using only sweeps. Some of these challenges can be completed with any character, some can only be played with certain characters. So far, 37 Freud clues have been discovered. Maybe there are more!
It seems you don't have to complete all 37 Floyd challenges to fight Floyd. Players also appear to be facing different “active” challenges, so fans don't have a process. It's a little confusing, but the best advice right now is to do as many of these challenges as possible and eventually, hopefully, you'll be fighting Floyd.
Occasionally, Floyd himself will appear at the beginning of the game to provide you with a clue (Klue?) to one of your aggressive challenges. Thethiny's data suggests that popping one of these leads from Floyd could take hundreds of ladder matches. Players are now working on the entire process, and some have spent a lot of time doing it. Some try to increase their chances by restarting the game, but this comes with the risk of missing Floyd clues since they only appear at the end of the game.
What is clear is that Floyd's fight has brought new life into mortal combat1. The new stage is the one seen in Mortal Kombat 1's announcement trailer, and it's absolutely beautiful, so it's nice to be rewarded for all that hard work. Floyd himself is sparking a deeper dive as modders try to find out the details of his moves and which characters from Mortal Kombat Games inspired them. It was so much fun to be a part of watching and showing.
at the same time, We have T-1000 guest characters to look forward toalthough Netherrealm has yet to confirm this, more DLC is likely. Hopefully, whatever happens, the developers will add more secret battles over time, perhaps with a signature pitstop for Mortal Kombat in return.
