The best legacy of modernity
Finally, we arrived at Modern Civilization VII. This age may start with most of the maps found and start with more civilizations you know. Presumably you will meet all possible leaders in your game, build relationships with them, and are looking for an empire that features close to or above 10-15 settlements. You should have a considerable military in the course of two ages Army Commander and units and many naval units can navigate the ocean.
That being said, the best legacy of modern times is military legacy. Modern is your last breath before the game is over, so you want to calculate it. If you have the strength and defense, trying to take over the entire map is a realistic goal, so doing it with the advice of a military adviser will help achieve this. There is no real point in maintaining a friendly relationship with multiple other leaders, so you might as well invade their land for as many settlements as possible.
In the modern era, your military forces are the most powerful force they have ever been, your city and city are in good shape, and you can rely on gold, influence and other resources to supply. There is nothing else but to try to dominate the map completely and build as many footholds as possible. Military advisers will also lead you on the road of flight, which opens a whole new door to combat.
Finally, the Military Legacy offers some of the best possible outcomes in CIV 7. From studying the Manhattan project to producing nuclear weapons, there are a lot of fun and explosive ways to end the game if you follow the military legacy.
