2K and Firaxis games are adding a whole new reality to the civilized experience. Today, during the live broadcast of the Civ World Summit on the official Firaxis Games Twitch channel, the studio announced that they will bring Sid Meier’s Civilization VII (the latest part in the Strategy Series), the first virtual and hybrid in civilization. Realistic META missions 3 and 3s VII VR.
This new civilization’s perception will place the player above the match area, which will be contained in a huge circular surface called the podium. CIV VII VR will support single player and online multiplayer modes, although online players will also use Meta Quest 3 or 3s opponents to limit their opponents.

Civilization VII VR will also support full virtual reality and mixed reality modes. With both options, players can give orders to their citizens from a distant, top-down perspective, or they can amplify the board’s actions by directing small virtual citizens to rely on the board’s actions as they work on each project.
The complete VR setup will allow players to be shipped to AA’s large museums, with the outside of the museum tailored the player’s choice of leader. Meanwhile, mixed reality will place the surface of the command table on the flat surface of the physical space in the real world, for example, converting the kitchen table into a strong battlefield.
Civilization VII VR will be launched in spring 2025 on the Meta Quest 3 and 3S platforms. It is now available to list it on both platforms via the Meta Store.
