Announced on Sony's 2025 radio show, the Lies of the P: Overture DLC Extension launches summer 2025 PC, PlayStation and Xbox. The game trailer is below.

P's Lies is a well-received single-player action RPG that reimagines Pinocchio's classic fairy tale in Bloodborne-style gameplay. IGN's lies reviewed Returned 8/10. We said: “P's lie may not be far from its soul-like inspiration, but it works very well.”

P's Lies: Overture brings players back to the start of the puppet's madness and reveals the events that lead to the main game. The gameplay trailer features a new environment, a new boss, and briefly teases a mysterious guide.

P's Lies: The Overture is a dramatic prequel to a well-received soul-like action RPG. On the brink of the mad massacre of puppets, you follow a legendary stalker (a mysterious guide) through countless stories and creepy secrets. As Geppetto's deadly puppet, you'll travel through Krat and his surroundings, discover hidden backstory and face epic battles that shape P's past and future.
