Saros, the successor to the return of Housemarque's successor, arrived in 2026

Housemarque announced Sarosits follow-up to the 2022 Roguelite shooter return. Starring Rahul Kohli, Saros arrives at PlayStation 5 in 2026 and offers enhancements to the PS5 Pro.
Saros revealed in today's PlayStation status that it sure looks like a Housemarque game. As Solatri executor Arjun Devraj (Arjun Devraj) is looking for an answer to a dangerous, ever-changing planet that is plagued by an eclipse and at least one very large, powerful existence, it will surely bring a return atmosphere. The phrase “come stronger back” definitely reminds people of roguelikes, and the spread of fireballs evokes the bullet-like trend of Housemarque.
Creative Director Gregory Louden called Saros the “ultimate development” of Housemarque gaming priorities. This is a new single player IP, but based Returned third-person action.
However, this is not exactly the same thing. On the PlayStation blog, Louden said the key game difference between Saros and Regression is permanent resources and progress. The world changes with the player's death at Saros, but players will also be able to upgrade their weapons and suit arsenal forever.
More information is expected later this year, as Housemarque plans to expand gameplay for the first time later this year.
