The biggest news throughout the interview is probably confirming that Okaki sequel was made in Capcom's proprietary RE engine. us Write a longer article If you want more details, but in short, it's obviously because it can help project leaders' ability to achieve elements of their vision of the first Okami that technology has not been able to do before. That said, many of the people at Crocodile do not have any work experience – this is the job of Capcom partner Machine Head.
Some mysterious former Plato developers are working in the game via Machine Head Works
We've been hearing rumors that a lot of talent has been bleeding, including Many developers near hideki kamiya, and even some who work on original Okam. We asked directly whether the group, such as Mikami, Abebe Tinari or Takahisa Taura or Platinum, would join the project. Although they won't get specific, Kamiya does hint at least some of the front seeds, and the front cap company works on the Kami sequel through the machine head. We have to wait and see who it is.
Capcom wants to make the sequel to Okami for a while
Check Our in-depth article here for more informationbut in short, Capcom is not as frustrated with Okami as we think. Despite the initial poor sales of the game, each new platform version increased sales over time, which caught Capcom's attention and publishers have been thinking about sequels for a while. But, as Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi explains, Capcom “needs to have certain key characters” and “it took some time for all stars to keep all stars consistent”. this yes Direct sequel

But in our interview, both Hirabayashi and Kamiya confirmed that this sequel is a sequel Sequel, pick it up directly where it stopped in the first game. Yes, that's yes Amaterasu in the trailer.
All of this is the origin of kindness and motherhood for all of us.
Okamiden …exist.
But what about Okada you asked? Okami's Nintendo DS follow-up certainly does exist and has its fans. But Capcom realizes that it doesn't necessarily align with everyone's expectations. As Hirabayashi said, “We know, of course, there are some fans out there. Of course, we also know the feedback of the game in the game, the way the story is filmed, and now some parts of the story may get bigger and bigger. t and People's expectations remain consistent.
hideki kamiya read your social media post
No one may be surprised to hear Hideki Kamiya read your social media post because he himself is a prolific poster. But Kamiya admitted in our interview that they both specialize in social media to understand what people expect from a sequel…but it’s not exactly what people are asking him to do here.
“Of course, our job is not to create the game people ask us to create exact copies of what people want,” he said. “But we are working on implementing a game that will enable people to do this ōkami sequel Expectation. I have an idea about what I want to create. And I have no plan to abandon users’ expectations of games, but I always want to make the best games possible.”

The Okami sequel was still very very early in development
The three we spoke to said they announced the sequel to Ommi very early, just because they wanted to do so, but did ask fans to be patient. “Faster speeds aren’t always the best,” Hirabayashi said. “We won't give up on the quality of speed, but do know we won't delay the foot for this title. It's something we'll be working on.” At the end of our interview, he and Sakata both suggested we might have to have It took a while to get more news about the Okami sequel, Sakata said: “It may take a while before we meet again.
