The tense moments are obvious when they realize they are off on the record. So if the competitor is a blindfolded Speedrunner, you can't see the chat telling him that his webcam is off.
Last week, it was discovered GamesRadarSpeedrunner Bubzia is working hard to beat the world record to get a blindfolded 70-star run Super Mario 64. This was his record last June in one hour, 25 minutes and 11 seconds. He spent several days – 72, at the time of the incident – trying to overturn his own records. On February 10, Bubzia's webcam turned off, he broke his record with good speed.
Yesterday, it finally happened. My webcam died at the beginning of the 70-star run and I didn't know until an hour later. Fortunately, it was a few seconds behind the world record. pic.twitter.com/7bjzfwyhvh

Bubzia had some difficulties with his webcam before the run started. “That's a new one, man,” he said on a run before the big camera, about one minute and 34 seconds.
The heartbreaking guy will have a real steady run in 23 minutes and 59 seconds. You can view YouTube VOD His runs watch chat in real time. One person in the chat said, “This is probably the most interesting WR.”
FaceCam is crucial because it works. exist speedrun.com rules and regulationsIt specifically states: “The player must be obviously invisible in the gameplay, i.e. something must have covered the eyes.” Ergo, if you can't verify that Bubzia has covered his eyes all the time, then running will not be eligible.
Having some kind of backup, such as notifications, might be an idea. But a second category of specific rules says runners cannot get any help from others. This includes tips from a Discord call or text-to-sound chat. After the first webcam failure, Bubzia confirmed that he “all disabled people” reminded him in the event of a failure and received multiple Discord DMSs in an attempt to get his attention while running.
For some viewers, watching someone run for over an hour can be painful, and their attempts have not been ineffective since 24 minutes. Bubzia's chats tend to be ironic, hoping that runners can no Set a world record to avoid heartbreak when the eye mask falls off.
So in this way, Bubzia's time lags behind the world record, which could be a relief. The speed clock ended at 1:26:09, almost a full minute behind Bubzia's standing record.
“If this could have been a world record, I would have cried,” Buzia said, after taking off his eye mask and realizing that he had left face to face. “Brother, I'll quit SM64, man.”
