Kain's Legacy: Soul Raiders 1 and 2's remastered luxury physics version looks great

The Kain series’ worship favorite legacy finally returns to Kain’s legacy in a long sleep: Soul Reaver 1&2 was conducted last year. The series was launched digitally on consoles and PCs in December 2024, but soon, fans will be able to add it to their shelves. Kain's Legacy: Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered PS5 and Nintendo Switch Physical Versions Launched on June 13. Pre-orders for both the Standard and Deluxe versions are now available on Amazon.

Kain's Legacy: Soul Raider 1&2 Remastered Physical Edition
Kain's Legacy: Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered includes enhanced versions of Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2, which were initially launched on PS1 and PS2. These games follow Raziel, a vampire-turned Wraith, pursuing revenge on his maker, Kain, and travel through the fantasy realm of Nosgoth . Both games feature brand new graphics – the option to swap back to the original PS1 and PS2 graphics – game tweaks, and in-game gallery full of art and behind-the-scenes materials. While the physical version is only available for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, you can also get the digital version on all consoles and PCs. PC player can even save Catch the game on GOGcurrently discounted to $22.49 ($30).
Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered is part of the latest revitalization of the wider heritage of the Kain series, including a new one Soul Raider's Prequel graphic novel And the upcoming Desktop RPG and Legendary Encyclopedia. Hopefully this means we'll see a new single player game in the series soon. Either way, now is a good time to be a legacy for Kain fans. Better yet, if you're also a newbie to the game, this is also a good time to get into the series, as most of them have been reissued on modern platforms.
The Dynamics of Soul Raiders represent only part of Kane’s overall legacy. The franchise began with Kane's Legacy: Blood OmenThis is Kain's transformation into a vampire whose events are the basis for the rest of the series, even revisited and reconstructed through the temporary plot of Soul Raiders. Followed up Blood Omen 2although it was largely disconnected from the events of the Soul Raiders, it promoted the characteristics of Kain and the history of Nosgoth. Both games are available on the PlayStation store and on PC via GOG and Steam.
The storyline ends with Kain: Defiance's legacy, following the events of Soul Reaver 1 and 2 directly, and features Raziel and Kain. Fair warning that it ends with a cliff, which is part of why fans nail new games in the series — but at least it offers at least some closings in the events of Soul Reaver Arc, worth a try on a remake collection. Kain's Legacy: Defiance is available on PC only (unless you can use a used PS2 copy), but currently Discounted to $1 on GOG (usually $7).
