Nintendo Alarmo is now available at major retailers – Mario will wake you up for $100

Nintendo Alarmo is now available Buy for $100 Best Buy. The Nintendo-themed interactive alarm clock was first released on the Nintendo store in October, but you need to buy it online. At that time, Nintendo said Arando will launch at major retailers in March 2025. The weird accessories are already a little earlier than expected.
Currently only available on Best Buy (and Nintendo Stores). That said, we expect gamified alarms to pop up at other major retailers soon, including Walmart, Target and GameStop. Amazon may also sell it. While the online retail giant does not currently carry Nintendo Switch products, it still has a wide range of Nintendo official merchandise.

The Mario-Red alarm clock has a dynamic front display and built-in speakers. Before you fall asleep, you can choose the Nintendo character and game that will wake you up the next morning.
Arando released five Nintendo Switch hits and sounds, including Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breathing in the Wild. So far, Nintendo has added two games to the lineup with a free post-release update: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
In total, over 40 scenes can be watched on the screen, when the corresponding tracks in the game draw you out of your sleep. You can choose the volume that increases over time. As a heavy sleeper, I use this setup.

Alarmo also has several cool interactive features. A built-in motion sensor allows you to press with gestures or buttons (this is your choice). The Nintendo characters in the above game can also respond to motion detection gestures.
All day long, you can use Alarmo to remind you by setting it to play music at specific intervals. It can also track your sleep and let you know how often you toss and turns, which provides a general idea of sleep quality.
The Alarmo is powered with the included USB-C cable. Although it won't work wirelessly, the included coin battery saves you on settings, so if you need to move the clock to another room or the power goes off, you can plug it in without setting it up again.
Nintendo plans to release more updates in the future, including new scenarios. Updates are free, but you need to connect your devices to Wi-Fi to download them.
