Anti-riot League of Legends Fighting game, 2xkowill not get the large parade test as originally planned. Instead, it will receive a “smaller” and the team hopes to “run bigger tests later this year” and “build infrastructure.”
The news comes from 2XKO game director Shaun Rivera. xHis response came after leaks about canceling the game and new features in March, starting to circulate on 2xko subreddit, prompting the team to “clear some error messages.”

While large game testing similar to 2xko alpha Lab 1 playtest won't arrive until later this year, the update isn't all bad news. Rivera also officially revealed some new features of 2xko. A major change will remove the game's pulse fuse (which can make beginner-friendly autostarter). However, the Autocombo feature will be added as a toggle option in the game settings.
Rivera said there are two reasons for this. First, while using AutoCombos, players can take advantage of the game's powerful fuses. Another reason is that when a team plays, each player can choose their own Autocombo preferences rather than using them through a pulse fuse lock.
Sidekick also has a brand new fuse that will actually remove the tag feature from Riot's tag-based fighter. Sidekick makes it a team’s point of view and support characters unable to swap positions, and the character is rewarded for health to make up for the fact that they cannot be tagged. Essentially, it turns a character or player (if participating in a collaborative) into a support character that can only use auxiliary attacks, in a way that passes on one of the core characters of League of Legends itself.
“We’ve received a lot of feedback and they want an experience that feels like a supportive character, they can learn the game at their own pace, and we’re so glad to hear what you all think when you have the chance to check it out. , in the future,” Rivera said.
2xko will be played for free and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2025, but there is no official release date. Players and 2xko as part of Alpha Lab Playtest for August 2024this lasted for more than a week. At the time, Riot warned players that Play Test would have a “quite amount of Jank” and elements to do the work. Those interested in joining the future game test can register on 2xko website.
