Halo: Flashpoint board game gets 25% off on Amazon

this Halo: Flashpoint desktop miniature game It debuted last fall, but it's hard to find an officially licensed war game unless you book it a few months in advance. Halo: When FlashPoint was launched, bookings unlocked by British board game publisher Mantic were the second wave of units, but stocks still seemed very limited. As of February 25, Halo fans in the United States can still Pre-order Halo: Amazon's Spartan Edition $118 ($125). Amazon will list the second wave of release dates on February 28, although the dates and prices of retailers and locations will vary, as Flashpoint is technically an import.

Or, you can pick up Scout version costs $57 on Amazon. HALO: Flashpoint's scout version has an MSRP of about $75, so that's a nice discount. It is important to note that inventory is limited and although FlashPoint is shipped directly from Amazon, it is only sold by a third party in the United States at this time. Scout is a more simplified version of the game, with fewer miniatures, cards and terrain works.

Flashpoint is a small-scale game that sees players assemble Halo Spartans or exile elite teams and send them into tactical-based turn-on battles. Those who have played war games Warhammer 40,000– especially the smaller KillTeam format – will find the premise and gameplay of Halo: Flashpoint, but the game's creator Mantic Entertainment designed it easy for new immigrants.

This is something found in the Spartan version of the box. The Spartan Minis are red or blue – you get eight in each color – but you can draw more detailed designs on these basis. Out of the box, the four exiled elites are grey.

Recon Edition provides everything you need to start playing faster, less dynamic Flashpoints. The Scout version does not include exiled elites, so you are limited to red and blue, and each player receives four Spartan Miniatures. The Scout Edition contains approximately half of the number of weapons, players and reference cards.

Like Spartan Edition, Recon Edition includes two-sided games, but your terrain is less to rearrange and is limited to ground-small conflicts. The Spartan version has several layers of multi-layered terrain works.
