Exceed! Game Club: Revisiting Batman: Arkham Asylum

Welcome! Game Club, a new segment of podcasts! Each month, we will choose a group to play games and talk about our experiences through them. These games will range from the various classic games we think we have to play to the typical PlayStation games, and even revisit some favorites in preparation for the upcoming sequel (check out the ghost of Tsushima and Yotei)! But in March, we think it will be a good time to revisit one of our favorite superhero games of all time: Batman: Arkham Asylum.

It's been at least a decade since many of us entered the 2009 Batman: Arkham Asylum, now it feels like the best time to revisit the game that is almost single and revitalizes the superhero genre. Whether it's a great free-form battle that precisely captures back and forth between enemies, unleashes devastating kicks or knockdowns, or how it trains our detective skills to solve Riddler's detective skills – Arkham Asylum gives us the best portrayal of Batman (at the time), what it feels like to wear jeans.
