Jack-style games will soon be played on smart TVs for free

Jackbox Games has been around in multiple avatars for the past three decades due to its addictive party games, including Jack-Don't Know Jack. Now Jackbox’s gaming library is moving towards smart TVs with the new Jackbox app.
pass Jackbox Games' official websiteThe company announced the app is the result of a partnership with Amazon Web Services Gamelift streaming, which will leverage Cloud to launch Jackbox’s title on smart TVs and other platforms.
While the announcement does not mention any specific titles that will be included, it does point out that the Jackbox app “will provide a small portion of ad-supported games for free.” The company said it plans to eventually offer a full directory of Jackbox Games titles as a subscription service, but does not offer any tips on how much it will cost or possible implementation. Jackbox also suggests that the app may enter other platforms if it receives a favorable response.
Jackbox also joked that the app could theoretically be used on a smartwatch before adding: “Collection of fiber games on your watch is supermodel”. Jackbox App Beta is expected to be used on smart TV platforms this spring.
