“We know you’re eager to update and we really appreciate your passion for Starfield,” the post reads. “The team has been working hard and while we’re not ready to share specific details, we have a lot of exciting things planned this year and we can’t wait to talk about when the time is right.”
The latest update for Starfield was made on November 19, 2024, improving performance, fixing bugs, and adding some quality of life changes, such as improving bounty. Bethesda Starfield has been played by more than 15 million players.
So far, Starfield has only one DLC extension, Broken space. It was released in September 2024 and added new story content centered on the mysterious house va'ruun. Similar to what I did for Skyrim and Fallout 4 before, Bethesda also added official MOD support, allowing players to create and share content created by users in Starfield.
In Gamespot Starfield Commentswe call Bethesda's latest open-world RPG “a mile wide but an inch deep”, praising its first-person shooting combat and interesting side missions while finding its main story, space exploration and RPG elements, which isn't big.
Rumors are that Starfield, currently available only on Xbox and PC, may be released on PlayStation 5, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer recently said he won't promise Starfield to keep Xbox exclusive.
