How many Final Fantasy games are there on the Switch?

You can play 20 Final Fantasy Games on your Switch – 12 mainline games, 1 prequel and 7 spin-offs. These games are divided into two parts: Mainline game (ordered by original release date) and Other games (Order by the switch release date).

Final Fantasy 1-6 pixel recovery

As part of Square Enix's Pixel Remaster Collection, the first six Final Fantasy games on the Switch are all available. Each game has new graphics, rearranged soundtracks, updated UI and new gallery for players to explore creatures, illustrations and music from all six games. If you are interested in diving into the original Final Fantasy Experience, this is the best way to do this.

Pixel Remasters are available alone ($12-$18 per share) or as part of the Six Final Fantasy I-VI Bundle ($75 USD). If you check out the game individually, I would recommend FF6 because it has one of the more immersive storylines.

Final Fantasy 7

One of the most popular games in the series, Final Fantasy VIIcan also be used on the switch. This is not a remastered version of the game, but the port of the 1997 original, with three additional features: 3x speed mode, the ability to turn off combat, and the battle-enhanced mode that makes encounters easier. While the newer remake, remake and rebirth introduces modern action RPG mechanics to Cloud Frife's battle with Sephiroth, FFVII's Switch Edition is one of the best opportunities to experience making the original PlayStation game so influential.

Final Fantasy 8 Remake

The next entry in the series can also be used on the Switch Final Fantasy VIII Remade. The updated version was released in 2019, the 20 years since FF8's initial debut on PlayStation. The remastered version includes 3x speed mode, turning off random encounter abilities, and combat assist selection to reduce the difficulty of the battle.

Final Fantasy 9

Final Fantasy IX On the Switch, like before FFVII, it was the port of the original RPG, and although it wasn't as “famous” as Final Fantasy VII, it was considered one of the best storylines in the series. Compared to the original 2000 version, the switch version includes some additional features including high-speed and pathless modes, AutoSave features, as well as HD cutscenes and character models.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is a bundle for Final Fantasy X and its sequel X-2 (the first direct sequel to the series). According to the IGN Sister website, the two games have over 100 hours of RPG content How long does it take to defeatand contains upgraded graphics and redesigned audio (with the ability to switch back and forth between new and original sounds).

Final Fantasy XII: The Twelve Zodiac Signs

Skip the now-opened MMORPG Final Fantasy XI, the Next Mainline game available on the Switch is Final Fantasy Era. The Zodiac is a remake of the original from 2006, with HD graphics and a re-recorded soundtrack, and The twelve zodiac working systemimproved combat rhythm, optional high-speed mode and automatic frame functions.

Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD

Final Fantasy XIII and XIV: Not available online, which brings us Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD. This is the latest mainline game on the platform, as FFXVI is still only available on PS5 and PC.

Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD is an abridged version of the original game, with its cartoon character model, simplified combat, reduced skill trees and fewer side missions. But Pocket Edition HD does retain the full FFXV story, Boys on the Road.

The World of Final Fantasy World (2018)

The World of Final Fantasydeveloped by Square Enix and prolific Japanese developer Tose, switched with new content and subtitle “Maxima” two years after its first release on PS4 and Vita. This is an accessible RPG targeted at younger audiences, combining the series' active time warfare system with the ability to capture Mirages (IE, creatures) used in combat.

Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Every Partner! (2019)

Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Every Partner! It is a remastered version of the 2007 Wii game Final Fantasy Fable: Chocobo's Dungeon. The ultimate fantasy spinoff is a turn-based RPG with a randomly generated dungeon and a partner system that allows players to bring other creatures or characters to mess up dungeon crawling.

Mana Collection (2019)

Since it includes the 1991 Game Boy Game Final Fantasy Adventure, the collection of these three mana games is on this list. Although it started out as a spin-off of Final Fantasy, the second match of the Mana series, Mana Secret of Mana, released these connections and has been an independent franchise ever since.

“Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle” Restored Edition (2020)

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle Restored Edition is an enhanced version of the 2004 RPG/Dungeon track originally released for GameCube. Switch's Crystal Chronicles has a lovely aesthetic, online co-op, and has added English dubbing for the first time. This is an improvement on the original graphics, and also adds new areas, monsters, weapons and higher lack of options.

The collection of Saga Final Fantasy Legends compiles three games for boys: Final Fantasy Legend i – iii. We include these games to create a comprehensive list, although these games are only Final Fantasy games of name. Legendary Games belongs to the independent franchise of RPG, which is inspired by but not necessarily related to Final Fantasy. The first three legendary games have received the Final Fantasy name to capitalize on brand recognition from Western audiences.

The collection adds high-speed mode and switch-specific enhancements such as adjustable screen enlargement, and playback capability for vertical playback (Joy-Cons is off in handheld mode).

Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion (2022)

Final Fantasy VII prequel, Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion It is a remastered version of the 2007 PSP RPG. Game star Zack Fair, a young warrior, reveals connections to Cloud and FFVII throughout the story. Reunion features remade graphics, new characters and background models, fully voiced dialogue, newly arranged soundtrack, and a sophisticated combat system.

Rhythm game to celebrate Final Fantasy Music, The dramatic final line 385 tracks throughout the Final Fantasy series have been released, although it has since grown into music including other Square franchises, with a total of 505 tracks. According to SQURE, including FFI – XV, Final Fantasy stands out from 46 matches. The dramatic final line series features over 100 characters and online multiplayer powers up to 8 players.

Chocobo GP (2023)

Chocobo GP is the final fantasy-themed kart racer developed by Arika (Tetris 99). While there are better kart racers on the Switch, the Chocobo GP is an interesting respite for the RPGs that make up most of the Final Fantasy series. Like other kart racers, it has time challenges, tournament-style races, and options for multiplayer racing.

The upcoming Final Fantasy game on Nintendo Switch

The most recent mainline Final Fantasy release is Final Fantasy xvino variant or equivalent has been seen on the switch. We probably won't see the new Mainline FF game on PlayStation or switch soon, as Square Enix's current focus is it Three-part remake Final Fantasy VII. Final Fantasy VII Remake Released on PS4 in 2020, followed by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth On the 2024 PS5, they have been on PC since then.

As the biggest Final Fantasy game of this generation, the biggest question is whether we will see these two massive remakes on the Switch. Although the current switch console is unlikely Rumors are said to be part of the Switch 2 releasewe will be in Nintendo Direct in April.
