two Zenless Zero The dubbing actor has been replaced when he discovers the game Patch Description They claim that they are online in the latest casualties in the battle to generate AI protection.
The Association of Screen Actors – The Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) is engaging in ongoing controversy with the video game industry, centering around the use of generated AI to copy dubbed actor performances.
ZZZ developed by Genshin Impact Company Hoyoverse is not subject to strikes as it is under development until July 25, 2024. However, voiceover participants may choose not to sign new contracts with amazing union members, or without an interim SAG agreement.
Emeri Chase, who portrays Soldier 11, said they were “replaced with Soldier 11 because I was unwilling to execute work that was not subject to the SAG interim protocol to seek AI protection, and the outcome of AI protection would determine the future of our industry.” Nicholas Thurkettle, who plays Lycaon, was also replaced, although Thurkettle is not a union member.
Chase explained in the thread: “I want to clarify that there is a difference between 'beating' and not reaching an interim agreement Bruceky (Thanks, EUROGAMER). “The union projects that started working before the strike and non-union projects did not 'hit'. However, they also did not provide the AI rights of the union we are fighting for.
“Many actors choose to voluntarily reject work in these project categories because we think it is the best way to support unions to fight for protection that is vital to our ongoing creation of the art we love.”
Chase added that they knew that “by detaining work, there is a possibility” to be replaced, but “hopefully (developer Hoyoverse) will choose to keep her silent until I can return.”
Chase said: “I found out that today’s character was modified today with all of you, and Serketel said: “I’m learning about this and I’m shocked. Neither Hoyoverse nor Sound Cadence communicated with me since October. I've been able to use it and recorded multiple voice jobs at that time.
“I'm not sagging, but the AI that gaming companies want to deal with is an existential threat. I took a personal standpoint to seek protection and had to be willing to give up the best things I've ever had in my career. I stick to my choice.”
IGN asked Hoyoverse to comment.

Company Game Developer In the ongoing sag strike, the character admitted in zombie mode in Black Ops 6 is recast.
Zombie characters William Peck (Zeke Alton) and Samantha Maxis (Julie Nathanson) are currently voiced by new, unknown actors. Alton told Game Developer that he had no problem with Activision's actions at Peck, but “expressed attention to my brand as a performer.”
“Fans of the game have contacted me because the lack of credibility (replace actors) means it's still me, which may be my unfair representation of my ability as a performer,” Alton said at the time.
