Saber Interactive insists that its previously announced game is still under development, although the broadcast revolves around high-profile champions, e.g. Star Wars: The Old Republic Replica Remake.
Follow Warhammer's announcement 40,000: Space Navy 3Saber Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits Tweets To ensure everything announced by the studio’s fans is still in production.
“Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world,” Willett said. “We are playing a lot of games in many different types of games. Everything we are talking about is still under development. When we have some cool sharing, we will share information about the upcoming games.”
The most obvious theme declared by Willits is the Kotor remake, which remains one of the game's most elusive projects. The long-awaited remake announced that it has been easy to change hands, seems to have stopped developing and started over again, failing to achieve four years later.
In April 2024, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch confirmed The company works with Kotor when separated from the Embracer Groupand the game is still actively developing.
“It's obvious, it's obvious that we're working on it,” he said at the time. “It's been a lot of times. What I'm going to say is that the game is alive and we're committed to making sure we exceed consumer expectations.”
Almost 12 months later, Willits' statement reiterated Karch's famous quote. But even now, we haven't seen a Kotor remake except for its initial announcement video.
