Ark: Survival Ascension Expansion Losts Colonial Star Michelle Yeoh, Enters Ark 2

Studio Wildcard said the expansion will feature numerous movie-grade anime story sequences created by Mappa. This is the official work:

In this new frozen world, players follow in the footsteps of legendary Ark survivor Mei yin, delving into the fearful heart of darkness to find answers to the secrets buried in the Ark’s past for a long time.

Ark: The Lost Colonies will bring exciting challenges to survivors when they become hunting in a massive occupied city and gain powerful new character abilities, unique equipment, building systems and excellent exotic taming.

Can survivors face the demon lurking in Arat Prime and connect the past and future of the Ark?

Studio Wildcard said in News Report that Ark: The Lost Colony “connected directly” the storyline of the Ark extinction and Genesis expansion, and led to the events of ARK 2.

ARK 2 is the sequel to the hugely successful Unreal Engine 5-powered Ark Survival Evolution. It was announced at the 2020 Game Awards with its amazing Vin Diesel cameo, which was released in 2022, but was later postponed to 2023. Then, in early 2023, Ark 2 is delayed againthis time by the end of 2024, as exclusive to the Xbox Series X and S Console, a one-on-one on PC, and on Steam and Windows on PC.

By December 2023, Studio Wildcard still insists that ARK 2 moves forward in the window for late 2024 release. Obviously, this did not happen, attracting the attention of fans. Therefore, the announcement will help assure fans that ARK 2 is still in progress, despite Studio Wildcard’s failure to provide an updated release window.

But we do have a stronger detail about the ark: the loss of the colony. Pre-orders will begin in June 2025, and all purchases will unlock the exclusive Ark: Lost Colonial Preview game content immediately. The full release is scheduled for November 2025 with the price of the lost colony for the Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 and PC at $29.99.
