Baudel's Gate 3 It's been a year and a half now, and we're still happy to be in trouble in the second, third, seventh and tenth game. But as developer Larian chose to leave the series, it allowed Hasbro to figure out how to relate to Baldur's door in the future. Fortunately, it sounds at least until we hear it something About the franchise.
Hasbro Dan Ayoub's Senior Vice President of Digital Games while speaking with IGN at this week's game developer conference Larian keeps goingHasbro “there are many people who are very interested in Baudel's door.”
“We kind of have plans for the future and what we are going to do. In fact, in a very short time, we will have something about it.”
Ayoub provides no other information on whether this “thing” is a full-fledged new Baudel Gate or some kind of crossover in the work, like the characters and magic: previous parties. However, he did admit that he ended up want to Baudel's Gate 4, but that production may take a while.
“It's a little enviable,” he said. “I mean, we're not in a hurry. Is that? That's it, we're going to take a very measurable approach… We have a lot of plans, there are a lot of different ways to take. We start thinking, well, yes, we're ready to start the toe and start talking about something. I think, I think, that's what I'm saying, we've said something, we've said something at this point, we've solved something.
Ayoub Hasbro announced the game last year.
“I never could have avoided the challenge,” he said. “And I think anything that forces us to raise the creative bar, developers like to have a high-end standard, and I think we’ve actually seen the team push some really interesting ideas, like ‘OK,’ Well, we need to raise the bar. We need to be bigger.’ Something like that.
We talked about many other topics, including Magic: Party, partnership with Saber Interactive, and Hasbro's overall game strategy. Please note our full interview sometime next week.
