Game whistleblowers officially return, including former staff and iconic magazines

Follow it Suddenly closed In August 2024, the long-running video game magazine Game Informer officially returned. Staff announced the news earlier today Blog Postswrote: “The entire team has returned and we can’t wait to connect with you again.”
In the same post, game whistleblower editor Matt Miller went on to explain that the store received a “new lease” after acquiring its acquisition through Game Studio Gunzilla. In addition, Gunzilla has rehired the entire team that worked before working at Game Informer. Miller said that thanks to this retraining, the team is confident that they can maintain “who we are and who we represent.”
Gunzilla, currently working on the upcoming Royal Games, reportedly assured the game information staff that the company will operate independently of the studio, “around the work we cover and the 100% decision on how we cover” from the editorial team of the site. According to Miller, Gunzilla Games believes that “the potential among the game whistleblowers is the same as our team, and their encouragement is commendable both morally and freely external pressure.”
In addition to Game Informer's website – in addition to new posts and Comment In the game released when the site was closed, the store has confirmed that its print magazine is also returning. Miller said the company’s intention is to “make magazines bigger and better than before, and add a number of membership and subscription benefits, including expanded coverage of our video, streaming and feature, while also expanding the range of experts and partnerships we leverage, which we can bring to those perspectives.” Miller concluded the blog post, pointing out additional information about membership and subscription options coming soon and encourages those interested in creating a new gaming infomercial account to keep up to date with details.
Before closing last August, Game Infomer was one of the longest-running video game media in North America, founded in 1991. The company was closed by former parent company GameStop (Video Game Store, not us!), reportedly surprised the entire staff as they have now completed the next issue of the sales store.
