Nintendo Switch Online adds three SEGA Genesis Classics

Nintendo adds new classic games for Nintendo Switch Online+ expansion subscribers. Three more SEGA Genesis titles can now be played through the service: Angry street,,,,, Super Thunder Bladeand ESWAT: Siege of Cities.
The SEGA Genesis Classics library is only part of the expansion package plan for Nintendo Switch Online. This premium level includes all the benefits of basic switch online service, as well as access to classic Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance games, as well as the selection of DLCs, e.g. Mario Kart 8 DeluxeThe boost courses and Animal Crossing: New Horizons'Happy family paradise expands.
The Nintendo Switch online plan costs $20 per year, while the expansion package plan costs $50 per year. Nintendo also offers an annual home plan of $80, which can cover up to eight Nintendo accounts on multiple systems.
Nintendo will typically expand Switch Online's products with new features and titles. Back in February, the company added Volio Land 4 In the Game Boy Advance library, Game Boy Classics Donkey Kong '94 and Mario's Picross increased in March.
The service will continue to expand Switch 2. In addition to the current classic title, expansion pack members will also access GameCube games on the new console. There will initially be three titles (The Legend of Zelda: Zelda: the Wind Waker, Soulcalibur II and F-Zero GX) at launch, along with other classics such as Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion and Fire Emblem: Fire Emblem: Nafiance's Road, with plans to go ahead in the future.
Switch Online members will also be able to take advantage of one of the main new features of Switch 2: GamechatThis allows players to easily talk to friends and share their screens while playing together in group meetings. All Switch 2 owners will be able to try GameChat for free by March 2026, after which it will only be accessible via online membership.
