Mafia: Old country release date appears to leak in August

Publisher 2K and Developer Hangle 13 seem to reveal the Mafia: The Old Country will launch PC, PS5 and Xbox series X|S on August 8.
Discovered gem2K and 2K and Hangar 13 released Steam Blog Posts Detailed their plans for Pax East 2025. In this article, the publication date was announced inadvertently. Although it has now been removed from the post, Gematsu provided screenshots of the blog post before the release date.
The PAX East 2025 panel for 2K and 2K and Hangar 13 will be hosted on May 8 at 11:00/2:00 AM EST and they will showcase new game trailers. Attendees will be able to meet with a number of developers, including studio president Nick Baynes, game director Alex Cox and film director Tomas Hrebicek. They will most likely announce a release date during the panel.
Mafia: The Old Country is the prequel to the first game of the series, Taken in Sicily in the early 1900s. More specifically, the game is set in the fictional town of San Celeste, which also appears in Mafia 2 and is mentioned in Mafia: “Authoritative Edition”.
It will also be in English, French, German, Spanish, Czech and Russian and Russian as well Sicilians to maintain cultural authenticity.
