Asus collaborates with Hatsune Miku after Gundam and Neon Genesis Evangelion

Trends come and go, but the vocaloid mascot hatsune miku is eternal. If you're a fan of virtual idols, you can expect a new collaboration with ASUS, which pairs with some of Miku Colors' PC hardware, similar to its previous anime like Neon Genesis Evangelion and mobile suit Gundam.

Tech and Miku Partnership will cover a variety of PC parts, allowing people to basically buy themed PCs, and so far, detailed information about special versions of keyboards, mouse, mouse pads and headphones have been revealed. Each item is dressed in Miku's signature white, turquoise and pink color schemes. Other PC hardware along the way includes a Miku-themed GEFORCE 5060 TI GPU, branded PC box, water-air cooler and Wi-Fi router.

The exact price and release date for each project has not been disclosed, but the line is expected to arrive later this year. Here is everything along the way.

Asus TUF Game K3 Gen 2 keyboard

The Miku version of the K3 keyboard features a bright color mixture as well as a layout with a cybernetic theme. Technically, the 97-key keypad has a rear battery management slot for a cleaner desktop setup, IP57 rated water and dust resistance, an optical mechanical RGB switch with N-KEY, an N-Keye Rollover, 100% anti-GHOSTING, and an estimated lifespan of 100 million keyboard.

Asus mini wireless mouse

For the mouse, the color layout here is mainly white, turquoise and pink accents, with a miku symbol on it as well. The mouse weighs 2.29 ounces, has an optical sensor with 12,000-DPI, with a polling rate of 1000 Hz, three-mode connectivity and mechanical switches, and can be clicked up to 100 million clicks.

Asus P1 mouse pad

There's nothing too dramatic here, as the P1 mouse pad has a Miku front and center. This 10 x 14-inch mouse pad has a protective coating of waterproof surface, and Asus says it has a “game-grade” cloth surface for accurate mouse tracking, anti-trans stitching and a rubber non-slip base.

Asus H1 Gen 2 headphones

This H1 Gen 2 headset will end the new theme Asus Gear selection. It's not a fever-grade headset, but it does offer features like Virtual 7.1 surround sound, with team-spinning one-way boom microphones and 40mm Asus Essence drivers. This is designed for long gaming sessions, a lightweight build using USB-A connection that makes it compatible with PC and PS5.
