Given how popular Nintendo’s video games are, it’s no surprise that like Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing and other beloved series have their own comics and graphic novels. Some of them are also big, including Pokemon Adventures, which has built over 60 volumes of catalogues and will grow even bigger when two new Scarlet & Violet graphic novels arrive later this year.
If you are looking for a new way to experience your favorite Nintendo story, we'll have a list of all the best Nintendo comics and graphic novels. The Legend of Zelda: Princess Twilight

The Legend of Zelda: The Past Links

This all-color novel (loosely) is based on links to the past, written and illustrated by Shotaro Ishinomori, co-founder of Studio Zero, creator of Cyborg 009 and TV series Kamen Rider and Kikaider. Originally printed with Nintendo Power, it is now the best way to relive one of Link’s first adventures.
Super Mario Adventure

Originally published in 1992 on Nintendo Power, Super Mario Adventures is now available as a full-color novel. It follows Mario and Luigi trying to save Princess Toadstool from Bowser's clutch and mark it as good as Yoshi's. Over 100 pages, this is a wonderful way to relive the iconic Nintendo Power Original.
Super Mario Comics Mania

Join Mario and friends as they head to various adventures at Super Mario Manga Mania. You will encounter many familiar faces throughout the 160 pages, although you notice that the comics are black and white, which is different from the full color pages provided by Super Mario Adventures. You will experience various chapters based on a variety of games, including Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario and other classics. The series is written and illustrated by Yukio Sawada, who has worked in several other Nintendo books, although it is one of the few English translations.
Splatoon
The series covers 16 paperbacks, following goggles and teams in the turf war. They are losers, but to win, it will require serious teamwork and careful coordination. Each volume sees the team dealing with new challenges, and with 16 volumes in the series, it's an excellent way to get deeper into Splatoon's quirky (and colorful) world.

Pokemon Adventure
Pokemon Adventures is a huge series that contains 63 different volumes – plus a few mini volumes. It takes place on several different story arcs covering all generations and protagonists, but they are all incredible stories that take you deeper into the world of Pokémon. The comic is highly praised by Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri, and it's still a simple suggestion for fans of TV series or video games.

Note that many of these early volumes were large, although later volumes narrowed down to about 100 pages. If you find a price tag that costs less than $10, that could be a smaller story. But no matter which choice you take, you will be subject to a real Pokemon adventure with all your favorite monsters.
Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet
This is the story arc of the current Pokemon comic, following Violet Lang and Scarlet Kioto for training at an academy in the Paldea area. The task of both is to find treasures scattered across the land, which will help them become stronger coaches. Volume One is available now, and bookings will be open for the next two volumes until it arrives later this year.
