The nitro deck acts as a cradle for switches or switch OLEDs. It has a very solid design and a quality feel. The switch will slide into the U-shaped controller and connect via USB-C, just like when docking a console, which reduces input latency compared to wireless controllers.

The Nitro Deck+ is more comfortable in these cases, but you may want to map the face buttons to four back triggers and/or use the new “sidekick” button – the removable button next to the two sticks.

The Nitro Deck+ also adds videos using an HDMI adapter, so you no longer need to remove the switch from the cradle to dock it and play on your TV.
