Atari 50 Extended Switch Edition for Switch Gets First Discount

Retro Atari fans can get decent discounts in recent releases of favorites Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration – Extended Steelbook Edition. The Steelbook version of “Mass Compilation” released last October specifically for Nintendo Switch was released for $40 ($50) Amazon and Walmart. With the current transaction you will pay the same price for the belt version as yours Standard Edition switch.

Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration was originally released in 2022. The extended version adds two new game schedules, with another 39 games. The first timeline is the wider world of Atari, which adds 19 titles and interviews, retro ads, historical relics, and other details about the title, such as Berzerk, Pong and Breakout.

The second schedule is the First Game Machine War, with 20 new playable games and 6 video clips. This timeline looks at the battle between the Atari 2600 and Mattel's Intellivision. This timeline includes some interviews with M online sports games and former Intellivision game director Don Daglow.

All in all, you'll get 140 classic games for Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration Extended Edition. If you have the original Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration, the new schedule costs DLC for $14.

The extension of the Atari 50 also gets a physical version of the PS5, but is only available in the standard version. that is, The PlayStation version costs $34 ($40).
