Larian Studios has released a patch for Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 stress test, a signal progression for the final major update of the beloved Dungeons & Dragons role-based game.
Stress Test Update 1 Now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC, which mainly includes bug fixes, highlighting magical items that the voracious again were greedy for, while Radial Menus shows their description.
Larian also did “some fixes” for cross-games, but is still working on how to get it to work. Photo mode has also been updated to include additional feature and lifespan changes, as well as regular large fixes. Complete patch instructions are available below.

How to play the game
- Fixed containers in stock that won't spread their contents when they are destroyed, which could result in permanent loss of critical mission items.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Crown Paladin to lose the spell slot instead of gaining it when upgrading.
- Fixed an issue where picking items from the ground from multiplayer can prevent movement from being carried out with the controller stick.
- Fixed wild shapes: Panther's quad moves and quad farming conditions did not work properly.
- Fixed a bug where adding items to inventory would lose conditions. For example, this may cause elemental meat-cutter polish to disappear when the weapon is thrown away.
- Shadow Blade will now retain the behavior of being locked to the caster when rising.
Photo mode
- At the beginning of the game, an in-game pop-up is added, which is triggered on the beach and can be found in the diary.
- Update Photo Mode's screenshot feature on Steam deck so it uses Steam's proprietary screenshot feature, so you can access photos more easily from the Steam Screenshots page.
- When activating Photo Mode while playing in multiplayer, it prevents the character from being able to pop up private cutscenes.
