Bungie's marathon was released in September on the same day as another big race

Bungie’s new shooter marathon is the focus of today’s live event, where the company shares a lot of new information about it, including the release date. The marathon will start on September 23, the same day the gearbox is highly anticipated Border 4 arrive. Expected GTA 6 will soon be in October.
The Marathon was the successor to Bungie's 1994 game of the same name, traveling to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The game supports cross-game and cross-reserve for all platforms.
Also in today's live event, Bungie announced that the marathon will begin in April –Here is how to register a marathon to turn off the alpha.
Bungie shows off the first Alpha game video of the marathon in a live broadcast today.
The game takes place in the world of Tau Ceti IV. Players will play the role of “runner”, described as a cybernetic mercenary, looking for “wealth and power.” Players will fight against other runners and AI enemies with trio. Like other extraction games, the goal is to survive with the clear material and extract safely before doing it again.
Runners can be customized using different weapons, equipment and “implantes”. Teams will need to work together strategically to assemble their squads to achieve the best chance of success.
Bungie said that as part of its season one roadmap, the marathon will face challenges in the final race, ranking races, seasonal storytelling, community events and more.
Bungie also revealed the short marathon film directed by Alberto Mielgo (Tron: Uprising, Love, Death and Robot). The actors in the movie short include Erica Lindbeck, such as Glitch, Elias Toufexis as Void, Nika Futterman as Blackbird, Donnla Hughes as Oni, and Ben Starr as the narrator.
