It features direct melee and range combat and an easy-to-follow equipment and loot management system. The crossing of the world of each game gives players the freedom to explore. On the way, you will discover new quests, dungeons and loot. This series also has a lot of Puns revolve around cats and dogs.

All three games have received PAW-sensitive reviews and user reviews. On Gamespot's sister site metacriticCat Quest 3 has 80 “usually favorable” beetles in 21 reviews. On Steam, the first two games have an “overwhelmingly positive” user rating average, while Cat Quest 3 takes “very positive” as the rule.
