Civilization 7-How to use artifacts with explorers

As mentioned above, if you want to get more artifacts in civilization, you need to study natural history citizens.

But that's not all: you still need a university (in the age of exploration) or a museum of the empire (built in modern times). Once you have an explorer, send the equipment to these buildings and select the research tool. This will automatically reveal excavation sites with the exploration of the times.

Note 1: Later, you also need to study hegemonic citizens. This reveals other excavation sites containing artifacts from ancient ages.

Note 2: The excavation sites revealed by universities and museums are mainland-specific. This means you have to own any of these buildings so that explorers can uncover the location of artifacts in these areas.
