Coast Wizards release DMCA on fan's Baudel Gate 3 Star Valley Mod, Larian CEO responds

The Coast Wizard posted a DMCA withdrawal notice on Stardew Valley fan Mod, which added Baldur's Gate 3 characters, although Mod had previously been publicly praised by Larian Studios Ceo Sven Winke. And now, Winke responded to getting off the car.
According to PC game playersthe mod in question is titled “Badell Village” and includes 3 characters from Baudell into Star Valley. mod Released earlier this monthShortly after, Winke took to Twitter to praise it, saying, “So much love comes into this – amazing work!”
Unfortunately, the Ministry of Defense disappeared just a few weeks later. According to a spokesperson for Nexus Mods T PC gamers, Dungeons & Dragons and Baldur's Gate IP Fixer Wizard introduced the Mod's DMCA Knockdown. “Hopefully this is WOTC's oversight, and they often use external agencies to hunt down content violations and they will resume their decisions,” the spokesperson said. “Finger crosses Baudel's village.”
Then, just today, Winke commented on the situation again on Twitter, again expressing support for MOD, while acknowledging that IP protection is tricky:

“The free fan mods that highlight your character in other gaming genres prove that your work resonates and unique word of mouth,” he said. “IMHO, they shouldn't be treated like commercial businesses that infringe on your property. Protecting your IP can be tricky, but I hope this will fix it. There is a good workaround.”
This may be part of a larger repression by the wizards of the coast around Bauddle's Gate.
