The next big version of Pokémon TCGdoomed competitors are almost here, I'm ready for my own shelf space and emotional budget, like I won't brag all over on the elite training box I absolutely don't need. The suit brings back the trainer’s Pokémon, reintroducing a round of evil fun from the Rocket team, which includes some of the best card art we’ve seen in years. If you like flashy collections, or just enjoy the feeling of cardboard power, then this is for you.

The original card I'm concerned about
There is a good chance I will end up with multiple adhesives filled with these, but some cards have already gained permanent placement in my psychological wish list.
- Cynthia's Garchomp Ex is a power movement in every sense. Huge damage, hand-painted, and the smugness of the person who always makes her turn set. This is the energy of the Peak Champion, I want three.
- Ethan's Ho-Oh ex is like this when the utility collides with Sparkle. This ability accelerates fire energy like no big deal, and the glittering feathers can heal your entire team while hitting 160. This is ridiculous, I am obsessed with it.
- Team Rocket's Mewtwo Ex is pure drama. Unless you build the entire Rocket-themed deck around it, it refuses to attack, but when it does, it wastes energy like a caffeinated Gengar. I respect this too much extra.
- Misty's Psyduck is here to make you laugh and then probably lose a game in the cutest way. It has the ability to discard it onto the top of the deck for… reasons. I don't care. This is perfect.
- Marnie's Grimmsnarl brings a villain atmosphere with a positive dark-shaped building that flourishes in energy acceleration and is annoying enough to work. It's a destructive deck dream and I plan to run it like I did in 2020.
