Doom: Dark Ages Won't Be the End of the Series

The latest installment in id Software's Doom series won't end with Doomsday: Dark AgesAccording to its creative director.
“It's not designed to be the end of something,” creative director Hugo Martin said at a preview event (via computer gamer). “To be honest, that's all we're really focused on right now, but Doom: Dark Ages isn't a full stop at the end of a sentence.”
While it doesn't sound like id Software is currently planning what's next after Doom: Dark Ages, the studio isn't ruling out the possibility of more games in the universe, it's just focused on launching its current projects first.
