There are many great deals Today's Woot game salesbut the Pokémon lineup caught my attention first. Some of my favorite games include here, and the most notable ones are Legend: arceus.
I'm currently playing it to calm my hype down Legend: ZA When it descends Switch 2. Legends: Arceus still performs very well, especially when you tend to explore and capture the mechanisms to distinguish them from the usual formulas.
TL; DR: Mainline Pokémon Game Sales
Once Switch 2 has released 2 versions, it can provide performance updates for older games, although there is no guarantee yet. Some games may require specific patches or paid upgrades to take full advantage of new hardware.
Still, based on how Nintendo handles generational changes, most titles may at least see frame rates, better resolution and greater stability, even without official patches. I think this is a smart move to grab some favorites when discounted.

Legend: arceus Abandoning the traditional fitness system and giving us something more interesting: the open world (a kind of) exploration and real-time capture mechanism. Not only are you fighting wild Pokémon, you are also sneaking and throwing Pokémon by hand and dodging attacks.
It's a refreshing change in speed, and it still feels time compared to some other entries. If you're like me and count down until the days of Legend: ZA on Switch 2, playing Arceus again is the best way to pass time.

Sword is half the first fully 3D mainline entry on Pokémon on the Switch (yes, we know it's Pikachu and Eevee, but this is the first new generation to be in a comprehensive lead). Sword and shield The Galar region, Dynamax combat and field areas are introduced.
The latter is a semi-open world full of advanced monsters and weather changes. Sword-specific content includes exclusive Pokémon like Zacian (the legend of wielding swords) and fitness leaders like Bea. In my opinion, Sword is more inclined toward an offensive-focused exclusive product, and it is a solid choice if you prefer a fast, aggressive team.

The shield is the companion of the sword, but it is not only a reskin. You get different gym leaders like Allister, the exclusive Pokémon of Zamazenta (basically turning into a shield), and a slightly different emphasis on defensive strategies.
I also think Shield players tend to have access to some more bulkier tank monsters earlier. Otherwise, it's the same story and exploration structure. Choosing between swords and shields is really just what kind of team you want to build.

Brilliant diamonds It is a modern remake in 2006 Nintendo DS game Pokémon Diamond. It's very sticky to the original map layout and story rhythm, but gives everything 3D polish with the artistic style of “Red Cliff”.
The magnificent underground is a real upgrade here, which offers a large number of cave mazes where you can find rare Pokémon and new biomes. Brilliant Diamond's exclusive Pokémon include Dialga, Cranidos, and Honchkrow, so if you're a fan of these, this is the version you want.

Shining Pearl is a sister version of Brilliant Diamond, and reshapes the original DS adventure with the same faithful approach. The main difference comes down to which Pokémon you can capture. The titles of Palkia, Shieldon and Mismagius are exclusive versions here.
In my opinion, shiny pearls tend to be overlooked compared to diamonds, but this is all good, especially if you want a slightly different monster roster without changing the core experience.

Let's go, Eevee! It is a reimagining of Pokémon Yellow that simplifies and simplifies newcomers, but still remains fascinating for long-time fans. It uses Pokémon Go type motion controls to capture wild Pokémon instead of random encounters, but sees everything in Overworld.
Eevee is here to be your starter, learning unique moves like elastic bubbles and hoarse slides that aren't available anywhere else. If you want a more relaxed, almost comfortable Pokémon experience, that's it.

Let's go, Pikachu! It's our walk twins, Eevee! But obviously, you started with Pikachu. The gameplay is the same, but Pikachu gets its own special moves like Zippy Zap and Splishy Splash, which are ridiculous.
If you're a lifelong fan of Pikachu, or just want the classic mascot front-end and center, this version makes more sense. Otherwise, it really depends on which starter you want to ride throughout the game.
