Sony has said a 24-hour power outage Eliminated PlayStation Network On weekends, it was due to “operational issues”.
exist tweet Sony confirmed the recovery of its network services, apologized for downtime, and thanked the PlayStation community for patience. As a good good, it provides an additional five days for all PlayStation Plus members.
However, some PlayStation customers requested more information about downtime businesses than vague “operational issues” and pointed to the high-profile PSN data breach in 2011 that leaked personal details of about 77 million accounts information.

“In view of what happened in 2011, we need to know if we need to call the bank to get a new credit card and need identity protection services,” a social media user said in response to Sony's statement.
“Sweet, but can you tell us what's going on in the future and how to avoid this?” another question.
Another said: “Your lack of transparency is disturbing.”
Some have also called on Sony to outline the measures it has taken to prevent similar “operational issues” from phased out PSN in the future.
PSN offline affects not only online games, but also single-player games that require server authentication or constant Internet connection. While PSN was offline, the fighter American retailer GameStop joked on Sony's fees, saying, “Betting you want a body copy now.” However, the joke was ridiculed throughout social media because users pointed out , the store chain's preference for selling products other than video games these days.
