Game of Thrones: Kingsla offers a new way to experience Westeros

If you've been craving into Game of Thrones, the free action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, which will be released on PC and Mobile, will be right in your alley.

It brings a new original story in Westeros, which was set in the second half of Game of Thrones. Your character is a new member of the series’ legend, the heir to the living tires, a small house in the north, trapped in the political conspiracy network of the realm.

Your journey will bring you into contact with famous figures like Jon Snow, Samwell Tarly, Lord Varys and Cersei Lannister, and you'll see events you've never seen before, like House Bolton's transfer loyalty. Players will travel throughout the continent to iconic locations such as King's Landing, Black Castle and Hagden, which have been recreated to mimic their appearance.

The game's open world exploration allows you to roam freely these locations, as well as wilderness outside the walls and new hidden towns. In each town, you will find unique quests and challenges that can complete the rich legends of Game of Thrones.

In addition to the main tasks that drive stories and assist tasks, the game also offers a variety of activities to explore Westeros. You can perform optional faction and real estate tasks to earn money, gear and craft materials, allowing you to customize characters and loads to fit your play style.

This is Westeros, your trip will be full of dangers, not just political kinds. The field is full of desperate people willing to kill survival, and this is where RPG battles come in.

Battles are defined by the character class. There are three options: Knight, Sell or Assassin, each inspired by the character type in Game of Thrones. The Knight is based on the Westerosi Knight. They use long swords and rely on precise, calculated strikes. Sellsword relies on the inspiration of Wild Man and Dothraki, relying on the power of primitive, brute force. The assassin waved the double dagger with his deadly agility, inspired by Dorne's faceless man and warrior.

Each class offers unique gear, characteristics and skills, so how your character develops depends on you. The trait tree is separated into attack, defense, and support, each containing unique nodes that give fixed effects. Players can choose to specialize in one of these areas, or spread their growth into Jack in all industries. There are four skill slots available where you can equip your unlocked special skills, and each class has its own unique skills.

Fighting relies on reading enemy attacks and responding accordingly. Players can defend and parry, but some enemies' attacks are unstoppable and can only be avoided when dodging. This means you need to be careful, analyze your enemy's attack pattern and strike when the chance is right. You need to think strategically to claim to defeat the enemy.

In addition to the main single player story mode, there is a multiplayer mode called “Altar of Memory”, where players can work with others to fight legendary creatures. These include the hound-sized ice spider, unicorns from Skagos, majestic Griffins and weird parrots.
