If you're new to Sanderson, you can start by reading any of his two main series in Cosmere. Stormlight Archive is a high fantasy series with larger casts, a grander scope and many interconnected narratives. This is more ambitious and intensive in both series. this Mistborn Saga's original trilogy Released before Stormlight Archive debuted in 2010. Mistborn leans more towards urban fantasy and features smaller casts and fewer clues. Depending on your interests, Mistborn may be a better way to introduce yourself to Sanderson’s work.
