Big Theft Automatic VI This year is coming the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but at least based on what Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two have said so far, it won't launch on PC. So, why don’t the GTA 6 go to PC when it is released? There is no clear answer, but Take-Two executive Strauss Zelnick has more inspiration for this situation, saying Take-Two does not have the task of “crossing all platforms at the same time”.
However, Zelnick admits IGN“Historically, Rockstar started with some platforms and then moved from historically to others.” Reading between lines here, it sounds like GTA 6 will arrive on PC later, This will be in line with the company's traditions. Its last two big matches are the Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption II, which are launched on the console before entering the PC.

Zelnick said that the PC version of riding on multi-layered games can ultimately account for 40% of total game sales, so there is no doubt that at least there is a big business reason to eventually bring the GTA 6 to the PC.
“We've seen that PCs have become an increasingly important part of the console business once, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the continued trend,” he said.
Back in November, Zelnick said PCs will continue to be Take-Two's business future is “increasingly important”saying that support for PC is “not complicated for us”.
So, why don’t the GTA 6 go to PC when it is released? No one is talking about why. But a former Rockstar developer said the studio's goal is “What to prioritize.”
“The PC version is the version in the background, running two versions and building them,” said former Rockstar developer Mike York. “The game always has a PC version, but it's not polished, just feeding other games and making them work. ”

For Take-Two’s latest quarter, revenue from PC and “other” game sales reached $120.3 million, accounting for 9% of Take-Two’s total platform revenue. By comparison, mobile devices are $731.6 million (54%) and consoles are $507.9 million (37%). Of course, these numbers will fluctuate based on the game's release, but in the latest quarter, PC revenue was the smallest overall for Take-Two. Mobile devices are so big for Take-Two because it has the mobile swordsman Zynga. Zynga's $12.7 billion payments represent The second largest acquisition in video game historyonly after the snowstorm of Microsoft's blockbuster acquisition activity.
