Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition has reached its lowest price yet Now available on Amazon for $49.99– According to our records, even price tracking websites, it's by far the best deal, even beat Black Friday Camel horse.
Originally released on October 8 Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 (fully compatible with PS5)the series brings together the first six mainline Final Fantasy games in a meticulously restored form. Square Enix chose to improve rather than reinvent, making the original pixelated aesthetic complete, but could make it for modern presentations.
The result is a great looking collection, both in large TVs and in handheld mode. The soundtrack also received an upgrade in orchestral music, with legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu overseeing the new arrangements. On top of that, the packaging introduces some thoughtful quality of life improvements, including the ability to disable random encounters, enhanced experiences and benefits of GIL, which is leveraged for those who want to focus on the story without wear and tear.
As a small but nostalgic extra, this version includes a sticker table that includes 12 classic character elves including Black Mage, Mugel, Terra, Kain, and Mid-Cackle Kefka. It's not the most luxurious bonus, but it's a little fun feeling for fans of the series.
The series is available for the original $74.99 price, but at $49.99, which is an easy recommendation for those interested in the origins of the series. Whether you're revisiting these classics or playing them for the first time, this is an elaborate remake of the most influential RPG ever made. And, since physical copies are the only favorite version available, it may be worth picking up before it is hard to find, especially at this time.
