Kirby Aerial Rider Revealed in Nintendo Switch 2 Direct

Kirby’s racing spin-off, Kirby Air Ride, has made a huge comeback after more than 20 years, thanks to the new work of Nintendo Switch 2: Kirby Air Riders.
The project debuted in today’s Special Switch 2 speech, revealing a series of colorful Kirbys and new space vehicles. The gameplay was not revealed, while Nintendo chose to use the movie trailer and promises from the 2025 release window to reveal the project. We may not have to wait too long to see how the sequel was built in the original GameCube game, but we can at least easily understand that Kirby Creator and Super Smash Bros. Mastermind Masahiro Sakurai is the director of the project.
The last initial new Kirby game is the forgotten land of Kirby and Nintendo Switch. This is Kirby's first 3D perspective concept. We gave it 8/10. We say it “successfully distorts the already fun ability-based combat, platform and secret hunting into the third dimension of the series. The post-apocalyptic environment may not be as interesting as Planet Popstar as thematically, but it's still cute and dynamic, but the level of its clever design can keep Kirby's abilities consistent.”
