NetEase Games is backing off plans, with the mid-season ranking reset of Marvel rival contenders less than 24 hours after the move was announced.
Studio reveals reversal New Development Diary Blog Posts On its website today. Its message says that after “a lot of feedback from the community” when the mid-Season 1 update arrives, the competition level for players will no longer be given four points. The previously announced release date is February 21. Instead, Netease said: “Players will maintain their rankings and scores from the end of the first half.” It seems that the change will also continue into the season ahead, and it seems that the six-district ranking decline will still reach the end of the season.
Thank you for all your enthusiastic discussions and feedback. There will be no rankings when the second half of the season begins! See details here! https://t.co/zm4iwsvrw0 #marvelrivals pic.twitter.com/7cpn3aiwux

“We strive to make Marvel competitors the best game, and the community is the driving force behind this mission,” Netease's post said. “Keep following our official channel for more updates in the second half of the season. Your participation and support means the world to us and we are excited to continue this journey together!”
Surprisingly, the promise, the Golden Ranking player will still receive the promise of previously promised clothing rewards and honorary awards. New rewards are available for players of all levels, they only need to complete 10 competitive games and then meet the conditions before the end of the season. In other words, NetEase is masking the problem of participants being frustrated with everything else and keeping everything.
The ranking reset of Marvel competitors was announced yesterday and immediately received attention and criticism from fans. As Netease explains, the main complaints have caused players to worry that the ranking mode will be less pleasant if it needs to work to keep up with the continuous ranking resets every month and a half. Less than a day after the mid-season competition changes were announced, the idea has been killed, shocking those who are not used to seeing developers address fan feedback so quickly.
This is actually crazy. They announced the reset of rankings and the community immediately generated negative opposition. Then they listened and turned the decision around?

Competitive changes aren't the only thing Marvel competitors have updated in the mid-week next week. The long-awaited hero adds something, and the human torch also eventually releases Fantastic Four as a playable character. Netease also told players that they also expect “significant balance adjustments”, although it is not clear how to make adjustments.
