Mecha rest A round of open beta drama was launched recently on Steam and some Titans were quickly cancelled in the process. Even if it's just the final experience, Mecha Break's demo is still colliding with elbows like Marvel rivals, Grand Theft Auto V, Apex Legends and Naraka Bladepoint. So, why is Steam so bad?
The open beta launch attracted 300,000 players on Steam, worthy of Marvel's rivals and ranked in the top four in the best game on the Valve platform. Even now, at the time of writing, the amazing Mecha Battler of Seasun Games Each steam db is the fourth highest contributoralthough it lags behind its competitors' 24-hour peak.
Popularity doesn't naturally generate motivation; Apex Legends, like Delta Force, has an overall rating of Steam as “mixed” and has more players than many other games on the PC platform. However Mecha Break's Demo It's currently in “most negative” with over 6,500 comments.
Look at the comments, there are some obvious complaints. The easiest thing to solve is the server problem. Thousands of players flocked to the open beta, obviously overwhelming the server. Amazing ocean responsesaid the studio has addressed the issue and provided players with several batches of “final maintenance boxes” as compensation.
These boxes are constant, long-term concerns between players. Through the store or battle pass and the purchase of cosmetics, individual mechas are unlocked. There is also a loot mechanic for the Mod, which has mild situations and drawbacks, which makes players worry about long-term balance and time investment.
It seems that while many aspects of the mecha break can be unlocked for free, it will take at least a while to do so. “Outside the mission, matches matching monetary rewards are very low. To unlock the entire lineup, you may have to play hundreds of games to get there.”
Another repeated criticism in several comments is anti-fraud measures. Mecha Break uses kernel-level anti-argument expert or ACE. These usually allow larger access to the user's machine in exchange for monitoring a wider range of cheat options. Usually, players are not satisfied with such opposition.. Anti-spoofing also clearly causes problems for Linux desktop users gamingonlinux.
Address some additional custom dilemmas like spending money to re-customize the pilot in your game, while negative comments portray the frustration of currency and grinding. Mecha Break will be a free game, so some of it does eventually accompany the territory. Interestingly, although the original numbers still lag behind negative reviews, there does seem to be a positive response.
At least, despite some game problems, these views seem broad compared to criticism outside the battle. Most positive reviews, and even many negative reviews, praise actual mecha combat and pilot and mechanic customization options, which include a bunch of cosmetics and paints, such as creating your own evangelical unit-02 or Gundam heavy arms.
We'll see if the amazing Seasun helps address negative responses throughout the entire release later this year.
