Must build all: LEGO teases Pokemon suit

Over the years, LEGO has produced a variety of sets under the prestigious video game franchise and in 2025 it has addressed one of the largest IPs of all time in the form of Pokemon. For the moment, Lego is just laughing at a kit to launch its new Pokemon series, but it looks like it will focus on Pikachu, the mascot of the Pokemon series. Here is a trailer for this:

There isn't much to do here, but the image does show a collection of Legos assembled into Pikachu's tail. More pricing details, release dates and a closer look at Lego's work will be revealed later. In addition to that, Lego has recently revealed two new sets inspired by Nintendo. First, Mario and his 1,972 replicas make this one of the biggest Super Mario Legos. Priced at $170, the LEGO store will be exclusive when it launches on May 15 and will be purchased through other stores later this year.
Another LEGO drama teases Nintendo’s Game Boys, but for the moment, there’s nothing to go on with regard to the price or official release date. A reliable leaker claims The LEGO Game Boys will be available from October 1 for $60, including 421 pieces.
If you can't wait to assemble your own Pokemon, there's an option in the form of the Mega kit. These sets have faithful design and mechanical elements to help bring Pokemon to life, so they spin a fun spin on the Pokemon. For example, the Pikachu kit has a manually activated crank to mimic Pikachu's running sport, while the Charizard kit performs flapping wings and swings in its design.
You can even build your own (featureless) pokedex, as Mega's Retro set costs just $18.39 ($35). The kit is based on the pokedex in Kanto region, has a light-up function and is bundled with five clip cards. All of these collections are also officially licensed by Pokemon Corporation.
