Nightdive Studios, a company known for updating and saving outdated video games, revealed that it hopes to start remakes of the PS3 and Xbox 360 ERA.
In an interview VGCStudio Head Stephen Kick and business development director Larry Kuperman said they wanted to view games released only on PS3 and Xbox 360 for potential remakes. When considering which games can be remade, Cooperman said there are many factors that will play out.
These include access to the game's source code and original assets and checking the game's currently fixed console. For example, a game unique to a console may need more refresh. That's the prospect of making the PS3 and Xbox 360 ERA champions so exciting.
Kick proposes free radical design and Ubisoft's 2008 PS3 exclusive design haze. He explained that Nightdive will contact developers to remake the game and ask what they will do if there is a chance and a bigger budget.
In addition, bringing older games to new hardware can eliminate issues such as stuttering frame rates and longer load times that occur on the original platform. In addition to making it easier for players to access old games, bringing old titles to new hardware can also remove issues such as structural framework rates and longer load times that occur on their original platforms. Nevertheless, there is still some hesitation about remakes of PS3 games, as they are also difficult Unique system architecture. But Nightdive says it's a challenge.
“If we do that, or I should say, when we get into the PS3 era, it will be a challenge we have to face,” Kick explained. “But I think we've had enough experience to do the work available in the PS3 remake.”
In other night studio news, Cooperman recently said the latest news about development System Shock 3 Can come sometime next year.
