When will the nine rituals come out?
Nine rituals have not had an exact release date so far, but it will be launched Sometime after the plot beginsnow live broadcast, launched on April 1, 2025. This will be a limited-time event that may continue to the new extension of Destiny 2, currently known as the “Apollo Project” in Bungie's 2025-2026 Roadmap only. However, the specific end date has not been confirmed.
Although these three featured dungeons previously required dungeon keys from their respective extensions, Nine rituals for all players will be free. This means that anyone with a basic copy of Destiny 2 can do it in the event.
What is the ritual of the nine events in Destiny 2?

The nine rituals will only focus on dungeons in similar veins that the Pantheon challenges from the light. Three dungeons will appear in the rotation: Prophecy, the spire of the watchman, and The ghost in the depths. The nine activities rituals add many new difficulty modes, updated loot, and improved agricultural systems to earn repeated run loot.
Players can also access a new social space called The third peakthis is a revised version of the old victory space, and it is nine victory spaces when players complete flawless runs. Here, players can visit an old ally nineto get all new rewards.
Every week, a dungeon will be listed as a featured dungeon where players will face various challenges. There will be three difficult options to make money for players of all skill levels. For players willing to get the most difficult, special loot can be attracted.

A new source feature called Good gravity These weapons will be unique. In addition to the initial origin allowance in column 5, the Gravity Well is also available as an option. The effect of the Gravity Well is listed as “Reloading this weapon will automatically collect nearby ammunition.” It's not clear how far this is, but cheering seems to collect any ammunition bricks nearby, heavy or special on the ground and pull it onto your character.
Players can also visit the Nine Messengers in the third spire space to get their loot dripping from dungeon completion. Similar to how brave Arsenal works in the light, there is only one adjustment per run, which will increase the likelihood of getting the weapon as a reward.
Players who complete the dungeon on the highest difficulty Last passwill be able to earn skilled weapons. These weapons have unique shader effects on them, making them glow and shimmer. The ritual of the nine difficulty modes of Destiny 2

The nine spinning dungeon rituals are divided into three difficult layers, allowing players of any skill level to make money and encounter challenges. Each mode changes aspects of the dungeon, such as showing useful tips to the rather difficult “NotSwap” modifier. This is how everyone is broken down.
Explorer Mode
This pattern is essentially “beginner's mode” with incredible difficulty levels and less severe punishment for wipes and partisan deaths. While we don't know the maximum power level of these dungeons yet, we can think that this will be a lower standard. The rules of the resource manager pattern are:
- There is no dark area. Typically, when a player encounters a dark area, if full-time death without a recovery available, the encounter will be reset back to the beginning of the previous checkpoint. In Explorer mode, dark areas are completely disabled.
- The revival timer only takes five seconds. The revival timers in dungeons usually range from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. In Explorer mode, they are more tolerant and therefore can restore players faster.
- Tooltips illustrate mechanics. Before you begin the encounter, you can see tooltips to explain the basic features of each encounter. New players will be able to master these skills immediately and execute their mechanics.
- Waypoint coaching players During the more open dungeon area. These will be seen continuously to guide the player to the next goal.
- Auxiliary platform When the player arrives at the checkpoint, it will appear to help those with difficult jumping puzzles.
Eternal Mode
Bungie hasn't shared full details on how this mode works, but it may be better at casual players seeking challenges. Here, most standard rules may appear, such as dark areas, longer revival timers, and stricter timers for certain encounters.
There will also be a scoring mechanic live broadcast in Eternal mode, which will measure the player's performance based on the time spent on the encounter, the time of the killed enemies, and restore the remaining time after the encounter is completed.
Last pass mode
This is the highest level of difficulty for nine rituals. Basically, it's just the best and best thing to thrive. This will most likely have a lower power cover and have many additional modifiers to make encounters more ruthless and difficult to drive. The rules we know so far are:
- Game mode difficulty. Just like on the first trip raid, players will be at least 20 levels below the power level of all enemies in the dungeon. Enemies will also be more aggressive, more frequent, and run towards the players as much as possible. Limited recovery will prevent players from encountering if they run out.
- “NOTSWAP “Modified.” NotSwap is a new modifier, and if players switch to an exotic armor, weapon or class, all their energy will be exhausted to zero. All cooldowns will be reactivated, the supermeter will be set to zero, and they will have to regain all energy to use the ability again.
Score will be based on death. The less death accumulated through the entire run, the higher the score. If the player obtains platinum Score, they will receive skilled The last weapon.
