Now you can have romantic romance in Stardew Valley

If the internet has taught me anything, it is that Stardust Valley and Bauder’s 3rd door are a game that two people simply cannot get, including myself. Fortunately, a newly released fan-made mod, Baudel's Villagebringing the two together in a very spectacular way. With Baldur's Village Mod, Stardew players can add more than 20 characters, six new locations, new stores, new projects and new events that are inspired by Baldur's Gate 3 and in the popular Farming Sim.

“A new village was recently built north of Pelican Town, whose new residents seemed… unusual,” Mods Description wrote. “You can find the entrance to Baudel Village at the top of the South Mountain map next to the Linus tent.”

After a Northward adventure, players will be welcomed by a brand new area occupied by several familiar faces, including the Wind, Shadowheart, Wyll, Karlach, Halsin, and everyone’s favorite, the blood-sucking nobleman, Astarion. Currently, Astalion is the only new neighbor player to be able to be romantic as he is the only person in the team who completed the design heart activities and gift preferences. However, the team has confirmed that its next focus will be to create Halsin's romantic storyline and then expand the world-building backstory and game features.

In order for Baldur's Village Mod to get up and running, players also need to install it Stardew Modding API (smapi), Star Valley Content Patchand Portrait modall of which are free to download Nexus mods. Players have used Star Valley Mods that may have downloaded these, as several of the most popular mods in the game require SMAPI and content patcher to run. Once the mod is installed, players don't have to worry about launching a new game to experience Baudel's door happiness – the mod should seamlessly integrate new content into existing saved files.

Despite launching less than 24 hours ago, Baudel's village has proven to be a very popular mod, with nearly 90,000 views and 12,000 downloads as of writing. Baldur's Village's success is exciting, but not surprising, considering the key role mods played in keeping Star Show Valley and Baldall's Gate 3 fresh and exciting heavyweight players.
